    What will the DJ and MC wear to my reception?
    Our DJs and MCs always dress to impress! From sharp suits to classic tuxedos, we’ll blend seamlessly with the style of your celebration.

    What type of equipment do you use?
    We only use top-of-the-line professional DJ equipment to ensure the best sound and performance for your event.

    How much does quality entertainment cost?
    Our rates range from $2,195 to $3,550, with most clients investing an average of $2,550 for unforgettable entertainment.

    What are your payment terms?
    A non-refundable retainer fee is required at booking along with a signed agreement. The remaining balance is due one month before your event. You can make payments easily through our website or by mailing a check.

    Do you have backup plans in case of an emergency?
    Yes, we do! Studio 27 always has backup DJs and MCs on call, and every DJ carries backup equipment to ensure nothing disrupts your celebration.

    Will the DJ play requests?
    That’s entirely up to you! Our DJs will only take requests if you allow it, and we always “filter” them to ensure they match your preferences. If a request fits seamlessly into your vision, we’ll make it happen.

    Can we request specific songs?
    Of course! You can select songs you absolutely want to hear and those you’d prefer to avoid using our easy online planning system.

    Can we request a specific DJ or MC?
    Yes! Let us know your preference, and we’ll make it happen.

    Can we provide our own music?
    Absolutely, but we recommend sending the files in advance so we can ensure everything’s ready to go. Just keep your audience in mind when making your selections.

    Should we tip the DJ?
    Gratuity isn’t included in our pricing. While tipping is completely optional, 10-20% is a common way to show appreciation for a job well done.

    Can the DJ play overtime?
    Yes! Our DJs can extend their performance beyond the contracted time, with payment due at the time of the extension.

    When should we book a DJ?
    For weddings, we recommend booking 7-18 months in advance. For other events, a shorter time frame works. Need someone last minute? We’ve got you covered!

    Should we provide a meal for the DJ?
    This is entirely up to you. Many venues include vendor meals as part of their package, but it’s not required. If you choose to include a meal, some caterers offer a reduced rate for vendors.

    What other services do you offer?
    In addition to our amazing DJs and MCs, we offer ceremony audio, uplighting, dance floor lighting, and photo booths to enhance your event.

    How many songs should we request?
    We recommend providing at least 10-15 songs across different genres and artists. This gives your DJ a feel for your style and lets us curate the perfect playlist to keep your guests dancing all night!
